The blade-ui project is an open-source HTML widget set. Server-side applications using either an XSLT engine or JSP to display web content can use a set of simple tags to display themeable components such as rollover buttons and drillable trees. Additionally, browsers capable of transforming XML and XSL into HTML on the fly (IE 6 and Mozilla both do this) can be used to create static page mockups.

Some of the components currently available in blade are:

graphical rollovers
tabstrips
panes / content boxes
drillable trees
spin boxes
slider controls
DHTML popups

Additionally, blade has tags to help you with:

DHTML animations
drag-and-drop functionality
client-server communication

BLADE components come with a number of themes, but its easy to create your own themes if you need to supply a particular look and feel.
